Officially, my blog turned one on 26th September. The feeling of having built something from scratch – and more, something a few people really enjoy, including myself! – is breathtaking. When I think of how much I knew then compared to now, the growth is clear. Similar to watching my baby cousin grow in month intervals, seemingly springing several inches at a time. It’s not until now that I’ve really reflected on the butterfly effect that has occurred.
Of course, I’m most grateful to have met all my readers through the online interaction. I remember getting the first few views and feeling very lucky! The same feeling remains though the numbers have grown, but there’s developed also a touch of astonishment.
Persistence has been the key – a lot of bloggers will tell you that, but I guess it applies to the entirety of this life. Why wait to write about my first year of blogging now? Because I want to persist further and take part in an event called ‘Blogtober’.
Everyday in October, I will be publishing a blog post.
So with that, I will talk to you tomorrow –
happy blogiversary to light writes! looking forward to reading your blogtober posts π
