After last week was heavily focused on my experience with Blogging – this week I wanted to have more fun with Blogtober: Starting with the Mystery Blogger Award. As far as I am aware, this is the first time I have been tagged for anything!
I was nominated by the lovely Eve / iaminbologna (web: https://unedited365.wordpress.com/). She always writes truthful and meaningful posts, which always have me gushing for more. I greatly appreciate her blog being there for me when I’m down and recommend everyone to definitely go there immediately.
Also, shout out to Okoto Enigma for creating this award.
Here’s the rules:
- Display the award logo/image on your blog
- List the rules
- Thank the blogger(s) who nominated you and provide a link to the nominator’s blog
- Mention the creator of the award and provide a link as well
- Tell your readers 3 things about yourself
- Answer 5 questions from the nominator
- Nominate 10 -20 bloggers
^^Three things about me^^
The first YouTuber I ever watched was BubzBeauty and I still watch her videos now! I’ve never missed one – I’ve always thought Lindy is the coolest person ever. It’s been nine years and the other day I realised I am now the age Bubz was when she started making videos (scary!).
I have wanted to be an author since I was seven, and it’s the only ambition that has ever stuck with me. It all started when I was introduced to my Grandad’s old typewriter; all I could think to write was a story, and from then on I haven’t been able to stop!
Morrissey (in the Smith’s days) is the most beautiful man I’ve EVER seen. He’s got the glasses… and the hair… and the messy shirt… – *drifts into daydream*.
Eve’s questions
Have you ever done something which you’d considered impossible before?
Not that I can think of! Right now I think building a successful writing portfolio might be impossible (especially for the time I want to do it in!), but hopefully I prove myself wrong.
What’s your favourite song? And why?
I don’t necessarily have a favourite song, but there are certain bands I always go back to – the Smiths, R.E.M., the Jam – and the reason is I can dance and sing to their songs, but also relax and fall asleep to them. So no matter what mood I’m in, they always win.
What’s the best piece of advice you could give to your younger self?
Don’t be afraid to be yourself. I spent a lot of my teenage years being all sorts of people, but if I had just been true to myself I would have saved a lot of embarrassing moments. I feel like I would also know myself better now and have more confidence if I had been that way. But I guess that’s just growing up!
If you were a flower, what flower would you be?
I would like to think I could be a Lotus Flower, so I can bloom in troublesome environments and clear waters for others.
Do you believe in miracles? Have you experienced any?
I do, just to breathe and the entirety of life is a miracle.
Hope you enjoyed getting to know me a little more!
I nominate everyone who wants to do this tag, but especially Ali (veggie overseas) and Coolpeppermint.
Here’s some questions:
What’s the one thing you could do forever? (ie. a passion, not breathing or anything alike!)
Favourite thing about your favourite day?
Are you already looking forward to Christmas like I am?!
Do you have any reoccurring dreams and what happens in them?
If you do answer these questions, link your posts in the comments so I can read!
Thanks so much for your kind words about my blog, they made me smile ear to ear 💕 I absolutely loved your answers, and I just realised how similar we are! I love the Smiths and R.E.M so much, and I think young Morrisey was really attractive, too! 🙂
