The January Chapter

I always thought February was the month everyone was unhappy with, but apparently it was January this year.  To be honest I’ve never really fallen for these statistics but this month… Well I don’t even know what to say.

I’ve spent a lot of time doing nothing, and loved it – guilty as charged. Been through so many bars of chocolate and Netflix series. With the crazy weather it hasn’t felt like too much of a problem!

I’ve also been doing a lot of thinking about everything – most of my evenings have consisted of music and musings. Even though I haven’t figured everything out yet, I know it’s time I start doing something. Some of my weekends, I think I slept for more hours than I was awake!

Last weekend, I did spend a bit of time in town with my mum, potting around shops and eating good food. That was just as enlightening of what I’d been missing.

Admittedly writing this very short chapter has made me realise how little I have managed throughout January. There’s a lot I want to leave to the Langoliers.

Here’s to February. How did everyone else’s year start?
