All day I have been trying to figure out what I need to write for this years closing chapter. December brought a heap of celebrations my way. After tonight, I think I will have truly run out of partying steam for a little while.
As soon as December 1st hit I couldn’t contain my excitement for Christmas any longer. I had the music turned up loud and all the decorations out. When my friend came over in the evening we both felt very festive, so the next week we went to our towns late night shopping event. We didn’t actually do any shopping, looking back now, but relished in the late night coffee shops instead. It was magical and something we both agreed we should do more often. True friends really do come down to enjoying the simple things together.
Then it was my 22nd birthday. Once again, my friends and I celebrated together. To be honest, I don’t think there’s enough room on his blog to explain how much I have learned to value my friends this year. They are absolutely the best.
I’ve been very aware for the majority of this month that I’ve not been taking enough photos. Tonight I’m hoping to get some more with my friends, but at least this year has been memorable, sometimes in a good way and sometimes in bad! Although I’ve had a lovely Christmas, needless to say I am very much looking forward to pulling in the new year.
Before I run out the door (I’m a little late admittedly, I’m trying to paint my nails and type at the same time!) I just want to say thank you all for your support this year, whether we have managed to share personal time with each other or you read silently, you don’t go unnoticed. I’m already very excited for us to continue this writing journey in the next chapter. I hope you’ve all got wonderful celebrations planned for tonight, no matter how you’re seeing out 2018. Happy New Year everyone! With all my love, Hannah Maggie.
